PULAU KELADI CULTURE VILLAGE
DESCRIPTION
Kampung Budaya Pulau Keladi is located in Pekan, Pahang which covers an area of 6 acres. The development is an appreciation toward the late Tun Abdul Razak, Malaysian 2nd Prime Minister. The village complex includes the birth house of Tun Abdul Razak, exhibition gallery which exhibits possession of the late Prime Minister , Pusat Karyaneka and cafeteria. The architectural design is influenced by local vernacular architecture elements such as ‘ gajah menyusu ‘ roof, the usage of local timber material i.e ‘ cengal and balau ‘and simple geometric carvings could be found at the house detalings.
